Our dermatologists are trained to take care of the full range of skin conditions, from acne and psoriasis to skin cancer and everything in between. All our dermatologists are also trained dermatologic surgeons.

Alta Dermatology was founded in 1983 in Mesa, AZ, by Dr. Stephen Kessler, a board-certified dermatologist. Over the years, it has become the most trusted name in dermatology in the greater Phoenix metropolitan area.  Dr. Kessler recently retired, but his legacy of excellence is being carried on by his son, Dr. Stephen Kessler II, a board-certified dermatologist, as well as three additional board-certified dermatologists, Dr. Brooke Jeffy Dr. Christle Layton, and Dr. D. B. Layton.  Our team also includes two licensed nurse practitioners, Kristen Graham and Kiran Dhillon.
